Miguel De La Rosa

Miguel was a part of the Miami Volleyball Club for three years while attending the University of Miami Law School. He even remained an active player during his last season as an experienced setter despite his expired eligibility for the National Championships. Therefore, he took on the role the men's assistant coach while continuing to compete in practice and local tournaments.
At the time, Miguel had been playing volleyball for twelve years. He played for several teams throughout the state of Illinois. These teams include OOJH in Skokie, Deep Six VBC in Evanston, Loyola Academy in Wilmette, Shoreline VBC in Lake Forest, and the University of Chicago in Chicago.
He has received his law degree from the University of Miami and since moved back to Chicago to pursue his law career. For his undergraduate studies, he attended the University of Chicago and earned a BA in Political Science.
Other than playing volleyball, "Miggy" performed in Carnegie Hall before the age of 21.
